The Joint Strategic Analysis Group (JSAG) has been providing geopolitical
and national security analyses for top-level decision makers in the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD),
the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), the U. S. Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), and the National Security Agency (NSA).
Analyses have included the Nuclear Mission Management Plan (NMMP), national-level Nuclear Command and Control (NC2),
the impact of post-Cold War developments on the future of nuclear deterrence, and the potential ramifications
of ballistic missile defense systems. We provide timely, objective analysis in the following areas of
