Undersea Systems and Technology Division (USTD) evaluates new systems, technology, and operational concepts through modeling and simulation, wargames, and field experiments. Additionally, USTD conducts military effectiveness analysis, engineering-based operations research, and systems analysis of undersea warfighting capabilities.
USTD supports the following customers:
- Office of the Chief of Naval Operations (OPNAV).
- Warfare Integration and Assessment (N70)
- Submarine Warfare (N77).
- Program Executive Officer, Aircraft Carriers (PEO Carriers).
- Program Executive Officer, Submarines (PEO SUBS).
- Director of Undersea Technology (NAVSEA 073).
- Commander Pacific Fleet.
