The Ships and Systems Integration Group comprises analysts and engineers that have significant program management experience and, in many cases, undersea warfare backgrounds. SSIG focus is on providing technical program management and systems engineering support to Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), its field activities and other Joint Program stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a similar technical field is required.
• Master’s Degree is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in the procurement, development or employment of submarines or undersea systems or 3+ years of operational experience in SSBNs/SSGNs/SSNs are required.
• Previous work related to U S Navy weapon system acquisition and program management, requirements development, resource planning, weapon system integration or technology assessment is desired.
• Strong interpersonal relationship skills are required.
• Must be able to be able to work independently or as part of a team, and be proficient with MS Office.
• Active DoD clearance is required.

Job Description:
Provide Technical Program Management support to a high priority DoD program within the Navy’s Strategic Systems Programs Office by working in a team environment that relies on effective application of technical/engineering skills as well as strong communications and interpersonal skills.  Participate in and provide programmatic and technical support to a U.S. Navy weapon system program office charged with planning, assessment, management, and decision-making for all stages of weapon system life cycle support including system design and development; resource scheduling and requirements planning and analysis; program documentation development; and other aspects of program coordination and execution. Responsibilities also include executive level meeting facilitation and briefing preparations for senior leaders. This position will comprise support primarily to the Navy's Strategic Systems Programs Office but may also involve interaction with NAVSEA and other government organizations and prime contractors as well as the United Kingdom. 

Candidates must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Successful candidates will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship required.
