Vice Admiral Terry Benedict, USN (Ret.), is the President of Systems Planning & Analysis (SPA), where he oversees profit and loss performance and solution delivery across SPA’s operating divisions and leads key corporate initiatives, including the Fellows Program and the company’s capabilities and software technology portfolio. With more than 40 years of distinguished Navy service and industry leadership, he brings deep experience supporting national security and strategic defense missions.

Prior to joining SPA’s executive team, Vice Admiral Benedict served as Chief Operating Officer of Blue Origin and Operations Manager for Bechtel’s Nuclear Security and Operations Group. He also served as Director of the Navy’s Strategic Systems Programs from 2010 to 2018, following his role as Program Executive Officer for Integrated Warfare Systems.

Vice Admiral Benedict holds a Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Naval Academy, a Master of Science in Engineering Science from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
