Software Developer / Operations Research Analyst (JTAAD/OSAG)

The Joint Analysis and Assessment Division (JTAAD) provides timely and objective assessments to a variety of DoD customers.
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or similar is required.
• 2-5 years of application development utilizing Visual Basic or C# is required.
• Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming, Visual Studio and WPF is required
• Expert proficiency in MS Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access) is required
• Ability and willingness to multi-task, and be capable of applying innovative techniques to solve client problems is required.
• The ability to prepare and present complex ideas in a clear and coherent form before an audience is required.
• DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Knowledge or Coursework in C/C++ is desired.
• Working knowledge of Data Analysis Platforms (MATLAB, SAS, S-Plus, R) is desired.
• Experience utilizing DoD campaign level simulation tools (e.g. STORM, JTLS, AFSIM is desired.

Job Description:
Assist Senior analysts, programmers, and application leads in developing software tools which aid in providing operational analysis and assessments. Working as a member of one or more project teams, will analyze complex issues related to campaign planning, capability analysis, and force structure. Duties will also include software documentation; implementation and testing of M&S tools; and presentation of analytical results.
  
    

Candidates must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Successful candidates will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship required.
