SCO Senior Program Analyst – Strategic Planning (Contingent)

The Joint Tactical Analysis Group (JTAG) is focused on providing analytic support to senior national defense decision makers, allowing them to make better decisions regarding their allocation of resources and improving operational capabilities. We do a wide range of analysis, to include supporting resource allocation decisions, development of optimization tools, analysis of military operations and joint training assessments. We also assist other groups conducting analysis of ground and expeditionary warfare.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or other science and technology related subjects is required.
• 20 years of recent and relevant programmatic and technical support experience are required.
• Proficient in program management, systems engineering, and an in-depth knowledge of one or more of the following:
     o Army long range fires,
     o Data science, artificial intelligence, deep learning systems,
     o Autonomous systems,
     o Long range weapon kill chains,
     o Communications, networking, inter-networking in communications denied environments.
     o Cyber
• Candidates need to be proficient in Microsoft power point, excel and/or other equivalent program management tools.
• Candidate should have excellent communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, and be independently motivated.
• Top Secret security clearance is required with the ability to obtain an SCI.
Job Description:
In support of the Strategic Capabilities Office (SCO): Work with the PMs in developing strategic and technical plans to promote the SCO mission within the guidelines and time frame requested by the PM. Includes identifying approaches to uniquely blend technology and concepts of operations to produce a full spectrum of innovative capabilities involving multi-domain solutions (including cross-DoD/Intelligence Community (IC) capabilities and whole of Government partnerships) to find existing capabilities that can be leveraged to satisfy warfighter needs. Includes evaluating and providing recommendations for proposed kinetic and non-kinetic analysis and projects.  Provide in-depth expertise in the assessment of proposals for research and development efforts (R&D), prototypes, demonstrations, and field trials in order to determine the technical merit of proposed objectives and methodologies.

Candidates must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Successful candidates will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship required.
