The Ships and Systems Integration Group comprises analysts and engineers that have significant program management experience and, in many cases, undersea warfare backgrounds. SSIG focus is on providing technical program management and systems engineering support to Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), its field activities and other Joint Program stakeholders.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical field is required.
• Master’s degree is desired.
• 15-20 years of experience in Navy submarine operations or the design, procurement, testing or employment of systems used in the conduct of undersea warfare or special operations are required.
• Must be proficient with MS Office.
• Program management experience in the following areas is preferred: DoD acquisition life cycle support; risk management; weapon system design, development or post-deployment support; cost and schedule performance assessment, and acquisition documentation development.
• Active DoD security clearance is required.
Job Description:
Provide Technical Program Management support to a high priority DoD program within the Navy’s Strategic Systems Programs Office by working in a team environment that relies on effective application of technical/engineering skills as well as strong communications and interpersonal skills. While leading a team effort, day-to-day support tasks include documentation development, requirements and resource planning; strategic planning, and other aspects of program execution. Responsibilities also include executive level meeting facilitation and briefing preparations/presentations for senior leaders. Senior Program Analyst needed to participate in and provide management-level programmatic and technical support to the Navy’s Strategic Systems Programs Office charged with planning, assessment, management, and decision-making for all stages of weapon system life cycle support including material solution analysis; technology development; engineering and manufacturing development; and production deployment.
  
    

Candidates must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Successful candidates will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship required.
