The Security Programs Group (SPG) supports critical US government programs and provides integrated decision-support to help High Reliability Organizations (HROs) manage complex security programs. Our work spans high-level safety and security policy; quantitative assessments including Geographical Information System (GIS) implementations and analysis, force-on-force modeling (GCAM), High Value Unit (HVU) ballistic modeling (weapons penetration testing), and blast effects; qualitative assessments including cybersecurity, insiders, and other broad vulnerability/threat analysis; and compliance/inspections policy, training, and implementation.
• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree (or higher level) program at an accredited college/university and have completed at least your sophomore year.
• Must be pursuing a degree in the following areas: Operations Research, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well within a team and with little supervision.
• Have a 3.0/4.0 overall GPA.
• Experience with quantitative and qualitative data manipulation techniques involving large datasets, including data gathering, data cleaning, data storage, data mining, and data visualization.
• Successful candidates will be able to use analytical methods to develop Measures of Performance (MOPs) and Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs).
• Requires advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of computer programming languages (e.g., Python, R) and database development desired.
• Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required.
Job Description:
Work as part of a broader team which is responsible for identifying security vulnerabilities, developing mitigations, and assessing cost-risk trades associated with each mitigation. This work supports the development of recommendations for acquisition, procedural, or organizational changes that inform a balanced security program.

Candidates must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Successful candidates will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship required.
