Chad Materniak

Chad Materniak is the Chief Information Officer of Systems Planning & Analysis (SPA), overseeing all aspects of the company’s Information Technology and Cybersecurity operations. His expertise spans strategic planning for global support services, application and network architectures, information management, and governance across multi-classification IT environments.

During his 15 years with SPA, Mr. Materniak has served in a range of technical roles supporting the Navy, Coast Guard, NASA, and the Australian Defence Force, contributing to operations research, engineering, and software development. Appointed IT Director in 2018, he also managed SPA’s catalog of models, tools, and software products as the corporate Software and Intellectual Property Program Manager.

Mr. Materniak holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Delaware and a PhD in Particle Physics from the University of Virginia.
